Mackenzie is one of Kim A. Tolman’s early works, created in 1993. Built around her favorite color, red, the painting uses a saturated field of crimson, black, white, and warm orange accents to create a charged abstract composition. Gestural marks and layered textures give the work a sense of movement, memory, and emotional intensity.
